Recently, at Dongfu depot of Xiamen Metro Line 2, the driver conducted the final servicing inspection before the train was put into operation. After confirming that the signal lights and turnouts were correct, the train slowly drove out of the depot, marking the service of the first permanent magnet electric bus on Xiamen Metro Line 2.
Xiamen Metro Line 2 is equipped with 10 permanent magnet trains, 5 of which have arrived at the section. After the train arrives at the depot, the professional technical personnel of the operation vehicle center conducted vehicle commissioning and signal debugging, and cooperated with the supplier to complete 15 type tests, including acceleration test, line braking test, anti-skid protection test and electric braking test. The results of each test meet the relevant standards. At the same time, the vehicle center carries out special fault simulation according to the characteristics of permanent magnet train, and further optimizes and debugs the permanent magnet train through data analysis.
The train is manufactured by CRRC Tangshan company, and the permanent magnet synchronous traction system is manufactured by CRRC Times Electric. After Changsha Metro, this is another new application of permanent magnet traction technology in metro train. Permanent magnet synchronous traction system is considered as the main force of the next generation urban rail transit train traction system because of its advantages of lightweight, high efficiency and low noise.
