The second award-giving ceremony of Chinese Quality Prize was holding in the Great Peoples’ Hall in Beijing On Mar. 29. CRRC Times Electric won the Chinese Quality Prize with Huawei Company. Ding Rongjun, Chinese Academy of engineering & the Chairman of CRRC Times Electric Co., accepted the prize and delivered his acceptance speech. CRRC Times Electric is also the only enterprise who awards such a supreme honor among the enterprises of Hunan province and Chinese rail industry.
Chinese Quality Prize is held every two years by AQSIQ (General Administration of Quality Supervision). It is the highest governmental honor in Chinese quality field. There are two kinds of prize: Quality Prize and Award Nomination. The winners for Quality Prize cannot be more than 10 organizations and persons, and number of nominees cannot exceed 90.
For the second term, the winners of Chinese Quality Prize are: Huawei, Zhuzhou CRRC Times Electric Co. Ltd, ZPMC, Beijing Tongrentang Group, China Construction First Building(Group) Co. , Ltd., Xiamen airlines, Shanghai Electric Power(Pudong), COSL, China aerospace science & industry Gorp. During the first term, CASA and Haier Group won the prize.
Ding Rongjun delivered his acceptance speech at the ceremony.
He said, the main reason why they award the prize is based on the practice of Pursue the combination of double high-speed traction management model. This practice comprehensively improves the quality. This model consists of three elements (vehicle body, vehicle wheel, computer bus) and three systems (Control, Motivation, Inspection).
Ding Rongjun also said, the culture “Ability first, Quality’s driven” stands for vehicle body; “high reliability and safety” is like vehicle wheel. The efficiency and profit is computer bus. There systems means insisting strategic orientation, reasonable adjustment of resources and guarantee the realization of CRRC mission and vision. We should make a scientific test system and keep improving, creating a motivation for excellent efficiency. The foundation of innovative platform (design, manufacture, and product) ensures the quality for the whole life cycle of products, supporting the power to create value for customers.
Chinese quality evaluation committee said, CRRC Times Electric creates individually “Pursue the combination of double high-speed traction management model”, reflecting the characteristic of rail equipment industry. It sets a new standards and enjoys a great significance.

We feel very honored and privileged, it’s highly regarded for recent years’ focusing on quality and innovation management of our company, also the biggest inspiration of that we continue to adhere to the idea "High security and High reliability, Efficiency and Effectiveness”, furthermore, it increases the infinite confidence for Chinese Rail transit high-end equipment spread out in the world and benefit mankind.
