In late march, a new diesel locomotive specially made for Thailand will arrive in the country. It will be used to transport building materials meant for the upgrade of the Thai railway system. In addition to the advanced control technology, the locomotive is also installed with a “Far-Seeing Eye” and “All-Hearing Ears” – a real-time remote monitoring system named after the gods in Chinese mythology. Users can remotely monitor the operation of the vehicle’s key parts, and easily download and share the operational data.
