Recently, Times Electric's "Research and Application Project of Wireless Synchronization Control System for New Generation Heavy-haul Combination Train" has passed the expert evaluation of technical scheme smoothly. The evaluation was led by China Railway Taiyuan Group Co., Ltd.. It means that the new generation of wireless synchronous control system for heavy haul combined trains, which is completely independent property right of Times Electric, will be tested in Taiyuan locomotive depot of Taiyuan Railway Administration.

"Research and Application Project of Wireless Synchronization Control System for New Generation Heavy-haul Combination Train" has upgraded the technology compared with Locotrol wireless synchronization control system of GE company currently used in Daqin Railway. Locotrol wireless synchronous control system only supports 2G GSM-R cellular communication, but the new generation of Heavy-haul combined train wireless synchronous control system supports 2G GSM-R and 4G LTE-R communication at the same time, and reserves 5G communication interface, which can be used for research and exploration of asynchronous control under synchronous control.
