The Oscars of the Chinese design industry ended in Beijing. The Fuxing-series of EMU trains went home with a silver award for originality. The train’s designs are in line with the 2022 Winter Olympics, as the trains will be on a route from Beijing to Zhangjiakou. The cool blue color and elements of ice and snow certainly help set the mood, and it is the high-end technology that aims to steer the trains’ operations, maintenance into a new, innovative direction and era.
