Recently, SMD, has delivered DBT2400 crawler trencher to Van Oord. This new type of trencher can achieve a depth of 5.8m. It is the second trencher delivered by SMD to Van Oord after QT1600 trencher. In 2015, CRRC Zhuzhou Times Electric Co., Ltd. invested about 130 million pounds (about 1.2 billion yuan) to acquire 100% equity of special machine development Limited (SMD).
