The research and development of high-speed maglev transportation system with a speed of 600 kilometers per hour is a key special subject of "advanced rail transit" under the national key research and development plan of the Ministry of science and technology. The project is organized by CRRC, and is in the technical charge of CRRC Sifang Co., Ltd., which gathers domestic high-speed rail and magnetic levitation resources, and cooperates with more than 30 enterprises, universities and scientific research institutes to tackle key problems. The purpose is to overcome the core technology of high-speed magnetic levitation, develop a high-speed magnetic levitation engineering system with independent intellectual property rights, and form China's high-speed magnetic levitation industrialization capacity.
CRRC times electric undertakes the tasks of R & D, manufacturing and testing, as well as the new generation of on-board power supply system, control and diagnosis network system and some engineering equipment of suspension guidance eddy current braking system which are outsourced by technical cooperation and successfully passed the acceptance in Qingdao Sifang.
