TEC successfully won the bid of Macedonian EMU project recently, which is its debut in European market after orders gained from Georgia and Argentina. TEC’s overseas market performance now gets further enriched.
The Macedonian EMU project consists of 2 three-car EMU trains and 4 DMU trains, 6 trains in total. TEC will provide its independent developed traction system and network control system. According to project schedule, the first train will be delivered in January of 2015 and 2 trains each month afterwards.
TEC provides its customers with a wide variety of intercity EMU products, covering speed level of 200/160/140 km/hour and power supply mode of 25KVAC and 3KVDC. Meanwhile, intercity EMU traction system and network system from TEC are fully under own intellectual property, with much higher quality to price ratio compared to other overseas suppliers. Overseas recognition and application are building up gradually.
